The Rawson Family Reunion.

Well this was my first family reunion ever and I think it was a hit! =-) Great job to everyone who put so much effort into it! It was a blast! I wish I could have stayed longer! This was my first time up to Park City (even though I have lived in Utah for almost 2 years now) but I didn't really get a chance to look at the sites. But i DID get to meet all of Russell's fun family members! We arrived on Saturday evening (after Russ and I both got off work) and took the drive up to Park City. We met his family up there and had dinner with all of the family! Russell's whole family except for Clint was able to make up up and PARTY! We got to stay 4 bedroom condo with kerri, dan and alicia (and their kids) and Amy and Marcus and Lola. It was so much fun! It was a sleep-over every night! Sunday night we had another dinner together and a HILARIOUS talent show! I wish I could have thought of something creative to do but we didn't have time to prepare anything. But we got to spend the weekend up there but had to leave sunday night because we both were back to work on Monday. ew. I so wish I could have stayed! I loved it up there hanging out with everyone! And as all of you know I took lots of pictures, so sit back and relax and enjoy!

Oooopppppsssies

So I have been having problems lately with this certain thing that all girls have problems with at some point in their life. But I have been doing it a lot lately, like almost everyday. Russ thinks i am going to burn the house down so this morning when he woke up and saw that I had done it again (and left it on from the previous day) I think he had enough. This was the sweet message he left me this morning.

Have you ever burnt popcorn?

Well a few weeks ago my night started out like any normal night. I was hanging out until Russ got home from work. I got hungry for a light snack. I went to the pantry and found some "light" popcorn. The bag is smaller than most bags of popcorn. I read the directions and it said to put it on for 3 minutes and watch it carefully until you don't here it popping anymore. Well I got talking on the phone to Russ and completely SPACED it until i saw SMOKE and smelled BURNING!So yah. Russ was yelling at me to take the Microwave outside and I was yelling back at him that I didn't want to (but then i did). So the house was all smoking and SMELLED soooo BAD! We left the microwave outside for a while to Air it out. We don't have windows so we left the front door open all night with the fans going. it was pretty bad....(and i heated something up yesterday in the microwave and it still smells like burnt popcorn).

CRAP!

SOooooo, i just realized in changing my layout i just deleted my whole friends list. crap crap crap. i don't have any of your blog addresses memorized....so can you all please send my your blog addresses again!?!? thanks!

Photography blog!

So for all o you that follow my photography, I decided to create a photography blog so that i can separate my photography from personal life stuff. I'm still working out some kinks on it and am having some issues with sizing the pictures and stuff but you guys can check it out! I just posted all my previous work on there for new people to see so it's nothing new except for the latest post of allison sweet little sam! so enjoy! Let me know if you have any suggestions! Got Sunscreen?

So my REALLY SMART husband went to the lake with our landlord Brandon for like 5 hours and guess what.....he forgot to put on SUNSCREEN. As you have seen in previous posts, Russ has HORRIBLE tan lines! He is completely WHITE underneath his clothes. so 5 hours + sun + whiteness - sunscreen = MAJOR BURN! Probably one of the worst burns he has ever had. He was really hurting and freaking out about it. I had to rub lotion on his back multiple times a day for like a week or more. His Sunburn turned into blisters and then started peeling...and it peeled TWICE. it was gross. Really gross. Anyways, i'm trying to catch up on bloggin so i am going to do a little at a time. so here is Russell's sunburn. maybe he has learned his lesson.

Attack of Selena

So i am WAY behind on blogging right now. There has been so much going on lately i have so many pictures to show but no time to blog! Work has been picking up lately so it's busy busy busy! I want to post this one really quick because i think i am funny. But the other night I was editing pictures and Russ was on his own for the night. He played video games for a while, then started watching The Dark Knight by himself. Well poor Russ fell asleep at around 11 oclock. I was still up around 12 and he started snoring like crazy! Russ doesn't believe me when i say he snores LOUD. So my original plan was to catch him in action. I got the camera ready to film him and then he turned over and stopped snoring. Since that plan didn't work I still wanted to have some fun with him. Here's what happened....
