Why I love Utah

This picture is one thing that I love about Utah. The fall colors, and the beautiful mountains. Fall is so beautiful and I am sad to see it go. I do not enjoy the snow but look how beautiful it makes the mountains look. It's getting colder here and this is now when I wish i was in Phoenix.

Hope everyone has a happy Halloween!

Russ and Selena's Family Pictures

Well Russ and I got our pictures done a few days ago and Camilla has already posted a few to her blog and I love them!

Everyone has asked me why did we get them done. Well there is no special occasion. As a photographer I know how important it is to document life. Even though we don't have kids yet doesn't mean we can't get family pictures.

This is our family.

I wanted to document the time Russ and I have spent in Utah. The fun we have had while Russ has been attending BYU. The pretty fall colors that Phoenix can't offer us. I wanted to capture us, our personality. I wanted to look back at these and remember who we are now. Time fly's by us too fast. By the time we know it we will have kids and we won't remember how life was before. How simple our lives were and how much fun we had together. Not that we aren't going to have tons of fun with our children but it is important to me to get a few fun, artistic shots of us as a couple right now. I mean, I can't take my own pictures.... =-)

So here we are. The Sorensen's. I love my husband so much and everyday he continues to amaze and inspire me. He motivates me to do better. He is the best husband I could ever ask for. I love him more and more everyday. I seriously am the luckiest girl alive. He is a much better person than I am and I only hope that I can be the best wife that I can for him. Maybe I should do the dishes more often. =-) Thanks Russ for letting me get these done. It makes me soooo happy! I love you!

I am OBSESSED WITH US!

Please look at our pictures we just got taken here on Camilla's Blog! Love her stuff! I can't wait to get them and print them an put them all over the place!!! AHHHHHH!

I will post them later!!!

Work and PLay

Went down to Phx this last week. I was super busy but still had lots of fun! I came down to shoot Dan Hansen and Nicole Christensen's wedding and bridals. I squeezed a high school senior shoot, a family shoot and Tanner's birthday in there. Tues I got in and hung out at home for a bit. I went to see Allison and her sweet little Mollie. She was so tiny and cute! I of course had to take a few snapshots of her before she gets too big! I can't believe that Allison has this little angel already. Man I better start catching up!

Then We had Tanner's birthday party that day! My mom flew me out a little earlier in the day so I could make it home for the party! Nikki knows how to throw a 2 year old party that is for sure! First we played a traditional Mullaly QUIZ game. There are 10 questions about Tanner and we all see if we get the right answer (out of multiple choice!) I got a 6 out of 10. Got a D. But on the bright side I won the doughnut eating contest against my brother and my Dad! That is pretty impressive. It was nice to get with my family while I was home! Sorry Dawn that I didn't get over to your house! Miss you guys! Here are some pics of the birthday extravaganza!

After a couple shoots i finally got to hang out with a few friends on Saturday night! We went to see A thing called Life---I think that is what the movie is called....I was a pretty funny movie! I mis my friends so much ! Mollie's tummy is so cute! i can't believe she is having a sweet little baby! She gets to find out what it is in 3 weeks! I can't wait! Like I said earlier, I better start catching up! geez!!

And my dear friend Angie jones took a few pics of me and Lacey while we were on shoots, I have never seen this side of me before! haha, here I am, mrs. photographer! I love my job!

I missed my hubby soooo much! I think he got lots done while I was gone though. Only 5 more months until he is GRADUATED! Whoooo hooooo! I can't WAIT!
