Happy Anniversary Love

Today we just got back from vacation (San Diego!!!) and we traveled home on our anniversary. Russ and I both forgot today as we got in the car to drive back to the heat of Arizona. He remembered midway through the drive....."Oh Hey! Happy Anniversary!!" hahaha....It was a great trip that was sponsored by my parents as a wonderful graduation gift! It was a blast! (i will blog more about this later) but I am sitting here thinking about how lucky I am to have married such a wonderful man that I wanted to post a little something about Russ.

Russ and I have the greatest relationship. Yes of course we have our arguments but after 3 years of marriage I think we really have learned so much about each other. And it sounds cheesy but I really think that I love him more and more everyday.

There are so many thing I love about Russ but i will just name a few....

Russ is such an intelligent guy, without him I think that I would not be as "efficient" as he would say. I ask him to buy a blow dryer for me and her researches blow dryers until he gets the best blow dryer for the money (and yes, it was a dang good blow dryer). He really always has the answer and the BEST most EFFICIENT way to do it too! He always knows the answers to my questions and if he doesn't know he will google it and tell me a detailed description later.

He manages the finances. I have gotten WAY better since we got married about how to budget and spend our money (and find "deals"). But he is the driving force to keep us financially stable.

He is a hard worker and even though sometimes I just want him to lay around with me and do nothing he always seems to have something to do. He will run his errands and mine too! He's the one who has mainly done the dishes and laundry since we have been married (impressive huh?). He is worked hard for his degree and is now working hard to support me and the baby to come in his career!

Russ is the most patient person I know (and trust me I test his patience!). He is so kind and so loving and I know he will always be there for me. I can count on him for anything and most of the time when he says he will do something he does it! I get lots of snuggles, hugs and kisses from him and he is always the first one to say sorry ( i need to work on this).

He keeps my head on straight. He reminds me in the morning not to back up into the trash can (even if I ended up hitting it anyways.) He reminds me when I forget and helps me stay organized. (He also helps me find things when I lose them, which is often.....)

He is the spiritual strength in our home. He loves the gospel and the scriptures and I know that he will help raise our children to have good morals and to love the gospel as he does. He has so much faith and love for his Heavenly Father....He is an example for me always...

Russ makes me laugh and is silly with me at unexpected times. He keeps things happy and fun even if I am in a bad mood. He will put on music and dance around if he has to just to get me to smile. We have lots of fun together!

He has a great heart. Russ loves people and gets along with anyone and everyone. If you need a helping hand Russ is usually there with little complaint. He always thinks of others first.

and last but not least....

Russ is a cutie and i am very attracted to him... =-)

I feel so grateful and so lucky to be married to such an amazing man. Sometimes I still think to myself, "Why do I deserve such a great husband?" I really think that he is a better husband than I am a wife and I need to catch up to him! But all I know is that I love him so much and I honestly don't know what I would do without him.

Thank you Russ for loving me unconditionally. With all my flaws you only seem to love me more. I am grateful for all you do and I am still as obsessed with you as the day we got married. I can't wait to add our little bundle of joy to the mix. Thanks for everything babe.
